To uninstall:
Adobe
- On Windows 7: go to: Start > All Programs > GenArts Sapphire AE. Select “Uninstall Sapphire AE”.
- On Windows 8 & 10: search GenArts Sapphire AE. Select “Uninstall Sapphire AE”.
- On Mac: go to: /Applications/GenArtsSapphireAE folder and double click on “Uninstall Sapphire”.
Avid
- On Windows 7: go to: Start > All Programs > GenArts Sapphire AVX. Select “Uninstall Sapphire AVX”.
- On Windows 8 & 10: search GenArts Sapphire AVX. Select “Uninstall Sapphire AVX”.
- On Mac: go to: /Applications/GenArtsSapphireAVX folder and double click on “Uninstall Sapphire”.
OFX
- On Windows 7: go to: Start > All Programs > GenArts Sapphire OFX. Select “Uninstall Sapphire OFX”.
- On Windows 8 & 10: search GenArts Sapphire OFX. Select “Uninstall Sapphire OFX”.
- On Mac: go to: /Applications/GenArtsSapphireOFX folder and double click on “Uninstall Sapphire”.
- On Linux: open a terminal, type su to become root and run the following command:
- rpm -e “SapphireOFX package” (e.g., rpm -e SapphireOFX-11.000-1.x86_64)*
Autodesk
- On Mac: go to: /Applications/GenArtsSapphireSparks11 folder and double click on “Uninstall Sapphire”.
- On Linux: open a terminal, type su to become root and run the following command:
- rpm -e “SapphireOFX package” (e.g., rpm -e genarts-sapphire-sparks-11.000-1.x86_64)*
*Note for Linux users: To figure out the exact Sapphire version you currently have installed on Linux, run this command: rpm -qa|grep -i sapphire
A deactivation dialog box will pop up.
- If your machine has Internet connection:
- Choose to “Deactivate your license now (requires internet connection)”.
- If your machine does not have Internet connection:
- Choose to “Deactivate your license manually using another computer’s web browser”.
