Preserve Metadata

Shot metadata should be extracted from the as-shot camera media and preserved in downstream versions, either in the image or in a separate metadata file. For anamorphic primes, we’re interested in how the focus distance changed during each shot, if at all, as that will induce lens breathing we’ll have to correct for. For zoom lenses, the zoom setting and changes will be useful as well. Note that we’re not going to use the metadata directly as part of the solve, it isn’t accurate enough for that, we just want to know what happened when, to better constrain the solve.
