iZotope Photon: What's New

iZotope Photon is the first joint research effort between iZotope and Boris FX.

Photon is a standalone app and ARA plugin for AI stem separation, voice separation, and audio cleanup. All powered by 12 custom-trained machine learning models that run locally on your GPU.

Split a finished song into Voice, Drums, Bass, and Other stems. Break a drum track into Kick, Snare, Hi-Hat, Toms, and Cymbals. Separate up to six speakers recorded on one track, or remove noise and echo from dialogue with Voice Restore.

Your audio never leaves your computer. Everything runs on your machine — no uploads and no cutoffs. The Photon ARA plugin also works directly on your clips in Pro Tools, Cubase, REAPER, Sequoia, Samplitude, and other ARA2 hosts.
