Using Tags in Multi-Export

When you set an exporter folder in the Project Tag Manager (for instance

<PROJECTS>/<PROJECT>/Exports), Multi-Export automatically uses that location by default. In the Multi-Export Configuration panel, you can override this default in the “To:” path field; that override will apply only for that particular export in that particular scene. If you click Keep File Spec, that new path is saved as a preference for future sessions and appears in the Tag Manager (as if you’d added it there).

Typical workflows include.

Relying on Project Tag Manager: Do nothing in Multi-Export, and the exporter path you defined in the Tag Manager is used automatically.

Temporary Override: Change the Multi-Export path for a specific export but

don’t Keep File Spec; you return to the default path afterward.

Permanent Override: Change the path and click Keep File Spec; Multi-Export now always uses that new path and it appears in the Project Tag Manager.
