Rules
Everything in Synthia—what it understands, what it remembers, what it does—is expressed in terms of rules. And there are a lot of them, around 8500 at present. We understand that nobody likes to follow rules, even less so lots of them, but the very number of rules means that they are less restrictive, not more. The more rules there are, the more you can do, and the higher the odds that whatever you say, it will be understood!
The rules themselves are composed of words, numbers, strings, and nonterminals—which we'll talk about next.
