How to Use Live Preview (Step by Step)

Prepare the shot: Track and solve your camera (and any moving objects) as needed. Complete the lens workflow before beginning GeoH refinement.

Create proxy geometry: Add simple meshes (boxes, cylinders, planes) to represent the parts to be solved.

Create GeoH objects: In the GeoH room, enable GeoH Create, then Shift-click meshes in the viewport to build the GeoH hierarchy. Turn GeoH Create off when finished.

Assign trackers: In the hierarchy view, drag each tracker under the GeoH object it should drive.

Place tracker pins: Select a tracker, switch to Place mode, and place the pin onto the corresponding mesh surface.

Enable Live Preview: Select the top GeoH object, delete the initial GeoH keyframe (to prevent fixed transforms from overriding interactive updates), unlock the axes to be solved, and enable Live Preview.

Refine interactively: Adjust trackers, pins, or constraints as needed. The GeoH object updates immediately on the current frame.

Commit the result: Turn Live Preview off to run the normal solve and record a stable result across the shot for playback and export.
