ENVY Post is reached through an unpromising-looking gate between buildings on Rathbone Place, but once buzzed in, the visitor passes through a mirrored portal lit with LED floor lamps into a very stylish multi-level reception area.
The presentation strikes a highly confident and creative note; one which holds for the whole client experience and is backed by an impressive display of awards.
ENVY was founded in 2006 by Dave Cadle who came from Blue (VTR) along with a hand-picked team from around London who are still with the company today. Dave wanted a community feel to the enterprise by encouraging employee ownership, and that approach has paid off with high-quality/low-turnover staffing. There is a strong sense of continuity, stability, and family about the place.
Now with 5 locations in the Noho area, each one is a complete facility in its own right with 3 of the buildings catering for offline, 1 focusing on Advertising and the original site focusing on finishing, driven by 220 staff overall.

Currently the editors’ favourite Boris FX filters seem to be Radial Blur, Damaged TV, and Lens Flare 3D.
ENVY works across both the long form broadcast sector and also the short form on air, advertising & corporate markets. On the broadcast side, they have an impressive catalogue of experience working across a vast array of cutting edge documentaries, factual, comedy, drama and entertainment programmes. Their work encompasses fast turnaround and single docs to large scale multi-episodic entertainment series for countless independent production companies and various broadcasters. Some recent examples include ‘Goldrush’ ‘The Voice UK’ ‘Top Gear’ ‘Grand Designs‘ ‘Gogglebox’ and ‘Syria Across the Lines’.
ENVY’s rapid growth doesn’t stop here, the team are constantly looking for new opportunities and further expansion is always on the cards.
