Where Can I Find the Sapphire Diagnostic Log?

The “Help” dialog now has an “email Support” button that takes you to a form. The s_log_extended.text file will automatically be included when using this form.

The Sapphire Diagnostic Log can also be found in the following directories:


Adobe
  • On Windows: C:\ProgramData\BorisFX\SapphireAE\sapphire.log
  • On Mac: /Library/Application Support/BorisFX/SapphireAE/sapphire.log

Avid
  • On Windows: C:\ProgramData\BorisFX\SapphireAVX\sapphire.log
  • On Mac: /Library/Application Support/BorisFX/SapphireAVX/sapphire.log

OFX
  • On Windows: C:\ProgramData\BorisFX\SapphireOFX\sapphire.log
  • On Mac: /Library/Application Support/BorisFX/SapphireOFX/sapphire.log
  • On Linux: /usr/genarts/sapphireofx/s_log.text

Autodesk
  • On Mac: /Applications/GenArtsSapphireSparks11/config/s_log.text
  • On Linux: /usr/discreet/sparks/sapphire11/s_log.text
