Resetting Your Preferences
The Edit/Reset Preferences item resets all preferences to the factory values. You can reset most of them (the ones on the preferences panel) using the Preferences as Script export described in the next section. You can reset just the colors by shift- right-clicking the color swatch on the Preferences panel.
If your machine crashes at an inopportune time, or suffers from some other problem, you might manage to corrupt the preferences file, resulting in SynthEyes crashing at startup. To manually clear the preferences, delete the following file:
Windows: C:\Users\YourNameHere\AppData\Roaming\SynthEyes\prefs14.dat macOS: /Users/YourNameHere/Library/Application Support/SynthEyes/prefs14.dat Linux: ~/.SynthEyes/prefs14.dat
