Checkerboard
The checkerboard model is intended for lens grids, as an alternative to Shot/Create Lens Grid Trackers. It looks for the hour-glass crossing shape where two squares touch.
The X-finder and Checkerboard models are examples of the sort of thing that can be done, looking for a specific feature type. They aren’t infallible, though: they will miss some X marks, and see some that aren’t true marks. So some cleanup can still be required.
For what it’s worth, each network represents more than a 100 GB of training data, and several days of training time on a multi-GPU machine.
