Path Lock Type (Solver)
This phase can modify the type of solver path locks. Paths are either hard, with a weight of zero, or soft, with a varying logarithmic weight in the range of 1 to 120. The path lock type can change soft locks to hard locks, which it does by setting the weight to zero, or it can restore hard locks to soft locks, by re-setting the weight to the value coming from the main panel.
The phase operates on a given object, a given range of frames, and a given set of axes: the X/Y/Z positions, the pan/tilt/roll rotations, and the FOV and Object Distance constraints.
In a typical use, a flaky shot might be solved first with some very soft constraints to bring it into range, then a Path Lock Type phase could change all the locks from soft to hard, and the shot solved again (by a second Solve phase) to produce values exactly matching those required.
