Multiplex (Edit)
Multiplex is used in complex multiobject setups to combine different pipeline results.
Suppose you have four objects and three are solved by one pipeline. The fourth is solved by a completely different method by a different pipeline. Multiplex lets you combine the two, taking the first 3 objects from one pipeline, and the fourth object from the other.
Multiplex has three inputs, and moves up to two objects in one phase. You can select which of the three inputs that the first object's data should come from, and which of the three inputs that the second object's data can come from. Note that unconnected inputs are taken from the main SynthEyes scene.
With this three-input/ two-object structure, you can move both sides of a stereo shot from a single second input, or combine an existing pipe with a second pipe for a left camera and a third pipe for a right camera. And of course you can use multiple multiplex nodes as needed.
You have quite a bit of flexibility!
