Python Scripting
SynthEyes also contains a client/server remote-control automation facility that allows it to be scripted from other languages or tightly integrated with workflow automation systems such as Shotgun. Internally, it uses a network socket approach, so that any language or application can implement the communication protocol.
In the case of Python, we provide an object-orient python SDK very similar to what you see in Sizzle. Due to the "bring-your-own-python" approach, SynthEyes/Python interfaces can be embedded into any other application that runs python! For example, you can develop in your favorite Python IDE.
You can read more in the SynthEyes Python (SyPy) Programming Reference, found on the SynthEyes Help menu.
