Planar Tracker Movable Center Point
Each planar tracker has a movable center point that is the 2-D location fed to the 3-D solver. By default, it is at the center of the 2- or 3-D planar tracker, but it can be moved to any location on the tracker, or even somewhat outside. This is similar to offset tracking with regular trackers.
For example, if a tracker is tracking the corner of a building, with the building filling most of the planar tracker, the center point can be moved away from the center to the point of interest, so that that location is the one whose 3-D location is calculated by the 3-D solver.
You can change the center point at any time, by dragging it on the surface of the planar tracker. When you do that, the entire temporal 2-D position of the tracker is
recalculated (this is very quick and does not require re-running the planar tracker). Shift- right-click resets the point back to the center.
The center point is not animated: it has only a single location on the tracker in all frames. If you think you have a need to animate it, that means that the tracking isn't very stable, or that the center point isn't sufficiently co-planar with the planar surface; a separate conventional or planar tracker is likely required.
