Filmbox Import
SynthEyes can also import Filmbox files. An entire rig can be imported, consisting of a mesh with bones, vertex weights for the individual bones, and a skin deformer. This can save an enormous amount of time when a pre-existing rig from another application can be used in SynthEyes. The rig can be brought in a generic (eg "T") position, or in a pre-posed or even pre-animated position (set the "Key rigs on frame" importer setting appropriately). It can also import meshes with existing vertex animation.
For full details of this import, see "Importing Filmbox Files" in the SynthEyes User Manual.
